This event, taking place on the eve of the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, will focus on a discussion of the Special Forum published in the Journal of International Relations and Development (JIRD) in 2023. Guest editors Dr. Olga Burlyuk (University of Amsterdam) and Dr. Vjosa Musliu (VUB), along with discussant Dr. Maryna Shevtsova (KU Leuven), will critically examine individual, institutional, and disciplinary authority in debates on war, exploring who shapes knowledge about international conflicts.
