The “Out of Shadow” exhibition will present the diverse range of children’s experiences during the Russian invasion of Ukraine from 2014 to the present day, as well as those whose childhood was marked by World War II.
Through the stories of children and their personal belongings donated to the War Childhood Museum, visitors will gain insight into their daily lives during the war: their families and friends, hobbies, skills, forced movements within the country or abroad, and memories of their hometowns.
The exhibition helps to understand and encourages reflection on children’s life during wartime.
